Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using the Asteco Immigration Consulting Limited website or engaging our services. By accessing our website or retaining our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. About Us
Asteco Immigration Consulting Limited ("Asteco", "we", "our", or "us") is a regulated Canadian immigration consulting firm. Our Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC), Karaan Aggarwaal, is a member in good standing with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC) and is bound by the CICC Code of Professional Conduct.
Our head office is located at 55 City Centre Drive, Suite 302, Mississauga, ON L5B 1M3. We also maintain a branch office at 179 Queen Street, Suite 3, Charlottetown, PE C1A 4B4.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By using our website (astecocanada.com), client portal, booking system, or engaging our consulting services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
3. Services
Asteco provides regulated Canadian immigration consulting services including but not limited to:
- Eligibility assessments for Canadian immigration programs
- Preparation and submission of immigration applications
- Work permit and study permit applications
- Express Entry and Provincial Nominee Program applications
- Spousal and family sponsorship applications
- Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) support
- Virtual immigration consultations
All services are provided by or under the supervision of a CICC-regulated RCIC. The scope of services for each client is governed by a separate Retainer Agreement.

The information provided on this website, including eligibility assessments, program descriptions, and CRS score estimates, is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice or a guarantee of any immigration outcome.
Immigration laws, policies, and procedures change frequently. Information on this website may not reflect the most current requirements. You should not rely solely on the information provided here when making immigration decisions.
Asteco Immigration Consulting Limited is not a law firm. Our RCICs are not lawyers and cannot provide legal advice. For legal advice, you should consult a licensed immigration lawyer.
No consultant-client relationship is formed by using this website or completing a free eligibility assessment. A formal consultant-client relationship is only established upon execution of a signed Retainer Agreement and receipt of the applicable retainer fee.
5. No Guarantee of Outcomes
Asteco does not guarantee any specific immigration outcome. All immigration decisions are made solely by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) or other relevant government authorities. We cannot guarantee approval of any application, issuance of any visa or permit, or any particular processing time.
Our services are limited to preparing and submitting applications to the best of our ability based on the information provided by the client. We are not responsible for decisions made by government authorities.
6. Consultations and Payments
Booking
Virtual consultations may be booked through our website. All consultations are conducted via Google Meet. By booking a consultation, you agree to provide accurate contact information and to attend at the scheduled time.
Fees
Consultation fees are displayed on our booking page and are payable in full at the time of booking. All fees are in Canadian dollars (CAD). Applicable taxes will be charged where required by law.
Refund Policy
We offer a full refund of consultation fees under the following conditions:
- Cancellation with at least 24 hours notice — full refund issued to the original payment method within 5-10 business days
- Cancellation with less than 24 hours notice — no refund will be issued
- No-show — no refund will be issued
- Cancellation by Asteco — full refund issued and an alternative appointment will be offered

Payment Processing
Payments are processed securely through Stripe, Inc. We do not store your credit card information on our servers. By making a payment, you agree to Stripe's terms of service.
7. Client Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information at all times
- Notify us immediately of any changes to your personal circumstances that may affect your immigration application
- Respond to our requests for information and documents in a timely manner
- Review all documents prepared on your behalf before submission
- Not misrepresent any information to IRCC or any government authority
Providing false or misleading information to immigration authorities is a serious offence under Canadian law and may result in application refusal, removal from Canada, or criminal prosecution. Asteco accepts no liability for consequences arising from a client's misrepresentation.
8. Client Portal
Access to our client portal is provided for the purpose of submitting documents and tracking your file status. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate portal access if we believe your account has been compromised or is being misused.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Asteco Immigration Consulting Limited or its licensors and is protected by Canadian copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on this website without our express written permission.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Asteco Immigration Consulting Limited, its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website or services, including but not limited to:
- Refusal of an immigration application by government authorities
- Delays in processing times
- Changes in immigration laws or policies
- Loss of income or business opportunities
- Reliance on information provided on this website
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the fees paid by you to Asteco for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
11. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
12. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
