To be eligible to the Provincial Nominee Program, you

The applicant must have the skills, education and work experience to contribute to the economy of a specific province or territory

The applicant must want to live in that province or territory

The applicant wants to become permanent residents of Canada

Depending on the immigration program or the stream, the province may target:

  • students

  • business people

  • skilled workers

  • semi-skilled workers
