About the Role
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Welder to join our client(s) team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and joining metal components to create structures and products in various industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements.
Set up welding equipment, select appropriate welding methods, and adjust settings for the specific job.
Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions using various welding processes.
Inspect and measure workpieces to ensure accuracy and compliance with quality standards.
Use hand and power tools for cutting, grinding, and finishing welded parts.
Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure proper functioning.
Collaborate with the team to achieve project goals and deadlines.
Adhere to safety guidelines and wear appropriate protective gear at all times.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Welder with a minimum of one year of welding experience, including experience with various welding processes.
Welding certification or relevant qualifications demonstrating proficiency in welding techniques.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately to understand project requirements.
Proficiency in welding components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions, producing high-quality welds in accordance with industry standards.
Precision and attention to detail in welding and fabricating metal components to meet project specifications.
Physical stamina and the ability to work in various positions and environments, often in physically demanding conditions.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot welding issues as they arise.
Knowledge of safety procedures and a strong commitment to following safety guidelines and wearing appropriate protective gear at all times.
