About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Baker to join our client(s) team. As a Baker, you will play a vital role in the creation of delicious baked goods, ensuring that our customers enjoy fresh and high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and bake a variety of bread, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods according to established recipes and quality standards.
Weigh and measure ingredients, mixing and kneading dough, and monitoring baking temperatures.
Decorate and finish products with creative and appealing designs.
Ensure proper storage and rotation of ingredients and finished products to maintain freshness.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the baking area and equipment.
Collaborate with the team to develop new recipes and seasonal offerings.
Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their bakery-related inquiries and orders.
Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Baker, with a minimum of one year of bakery experience, including proficiency in preparing a variety of baked goods.
Strong knowledge of baking techniques, including measuring ingredients, mixing, kneading, and monitoring baking temperatures.
Ability to decorate and finish baked products with creative and appealing designs, showcasing your artistic flair.
Precision and attention to detail in all aspects of baking and presenting baked products.
Physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, including standing for extended periods.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently, ensuring timely production of baked goods.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene practices to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to interact with customers professionally and assist with inquiries and orders.
