Provincial Nominee Programs
Under a shared jurisdiction between Federal and the provinces, Canada operates a two-tiered immigration system, offering programs for skilled workers, at both federal and provincial levels.
Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP) are a key part of Canada's immigration policy, with more than 200,000 people expected to obtain Canadian permanent residence through a Provincial Nominee Program between 2019 and 2021.
Provincial nominees issued under these programs awards additional 600 points to Candidates in Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS)
